Critique de la semaine : Wolfskult de Varg

Belle surprise que ce nouvel album de Varg. Une dose de Amon Amarth mélangé avec Korpiklaani et voici un heureux mélange.  Coté originalité, on a déjà vu mieux, mais l'ensemble est somme toute très réussi.  Les mélodies sont accrocheuse, la guitare très efficace et la production hors paire.  On grimpe le son et on est prêt à enfiler nos fourrures et partir à la conquête de territoires inexplorés à bord de nos drakkars.  Si vous êtes amateur de death metal melodique ou de folk metal, vous allez y trouver votre compte assurément.  Les moments forts sont Wir Sind Die Wölfe, Wolfskult, Naglfar et Glutsturm.  À écouter le volume au maximum pour un plaisir garanti.  Ma cote, un solide 7.5/10

Quuueeeeeelle semaine

Semaine de fou pour le métal à Québec.  Tous d'abord lundi on a eu droit à Accept et Sabaton qui ont cassé la baraque.  Ce fut ensuite au tour de Hate, Belphegor et Sepultura de nous remplir les oreilles.  Rendu au mercredi, on s'est reposé avec un mercredi bien sympathique agrémentée d'une tempête de neige!!!  Voici la playlist de la semaine dernière :

On a eu droit à tout un spectacle la semaine dernière au mercredi metal du Scanner.  En effet, Soiled By Blood a démarré la soirée en trombe avec son death/thrash bien ficelé, et Untimely Demise nous a achevé avec son thrash d'une très grande qualité.  Un pur délice.  Voici ma playlist pour cette excellente soirée :
