Did you get the blood-sealed invitation in the mail?
The one to whet your appetite and excite your senses?
Did you lick it, did you like it?
Everyone's going to the Cannibal Soiree
Will you be there?
I'm the host
and I'm always the one being eaten
alive- sometimes still moving,
exaggerated moaning
they fight over my legs, my arms, my eyes,
but the prize isn't the cracker jack
between my thighs- they clamour
they shout as they violently tear each other apart
all this for a chance to steak my heart
they take it raw and bloody still beating
against the roofs of their mouths,
they swallow as juice runs down
they elegantly unfold a handkerchief
and daintily blot the excess from the
corners of their blood-stained lips.
And, as the guests say their goodbyes,
they knock on my silver platter three times
they commend my carcass,
and the feast, these civilized beasts
make souvenirs of my clean-picked bones.
